One Scottish match off as five face Saturday inspections

One match has already been postponed and five others face Saturday morning inspections in the Scottish Professional Football League as people across the country are being warned to prepare for more snow and ice.

Annan Athletic’s home game against Elgin City in League 2 was called off after a 17:00 GMT pitch inspection on Friday.

Games hosted by Greenock Morton and Queen’s Park in the Championship are under threat, with Dunfermline Athletic and leaders St Johnstone the respective visitors.

As is Alloa Athletic against Montrose in League 1.

The top-of-the-table meeting in League 2 between East Kilbride and leaders Spartans, as well as Dumbarton against Clyde, are the other games facing morning inspections.
