Xochitl Gomez is one of Marvel’s youngest stars. The 16-year-old makes her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ as America Chavez. America is a character from the Marvel comics who has the ability to jump between the Multiverse. Xochitl stars alongside Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, and Rachel McAdams.
America’s future in the MCU remains uncertain, but ‘Doctor Strange 2’ is just her introduction. This is definitely not the last time we’re going to see America in the MCU. Xochitl will likely be playing the character for years to come.
Prior to ‘Doctor Strange 2,’ Xochitl starred in the Netflix YA series ‘The Baby-Sitters Club.’ She played Dawn Schafer in the first season.
