Dutch War Minister tells Caribbean Kingdom Leaders what to do ?


Dutch FM Ruben Brekelmans met with Curaçao PM Gilmar Pisas, Bonaire Governor Edison Rijna, and a representative of Aruba PM Evelyn Wever-Croes to promote regional interest, especially the recent offensive U.S. military engagement in the southern Caribbean Sea.

Minister Brekelmans suggested that the U.S.military operations are focused primarily on so-called DEA counter-narcotics efforts in international waters and that the Kingdom of the Netherlands is not directly involved ?

At the same time, he emphasized that the Netherlands remains in close dialogue with relevant parties to protect the Dutch political and economic interests. Its all about the corporate control over the oil reserves and gold deposits.

We are one business Kingdom. Especially now, it is crucial that we inform each other quickly, fully, and consistently, Brekelmans stressed. That way we remain collectively alert, provide clarity and reassurance to our citizens, and safeguard the Dutch tourism industry.

Caribbean leaders underlined that the situation is felt more directly in the region, making clear and timely communication essential to keeping residents and settlers well-informed.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to closely monitor developments, strengthen existing communication channels, and ensure coordination across all parts of the Kingdom.
