Arsenal are set to offload Brazilian winger Marquinhos.
He was signed from São Paolo in 2022, with the Gunners hoping that he could make the same impression at the Emirates as his compatriot Gabriel Martinelli.
But after several encouraging cameo performances in the Europa League, his fortunes have taken a turn for the worse, and his two subsequent loan spells have been very underwhelming.
He spent the second half of last season on loan in the Championship with Norwich City, where he managed just one goal in 11 appearances for the club.
And he played even fewer games for Nantes in the first half of this season in Ligue 1.
Now he is set to be loaned again, this time back to Brazil where he will join Fluminense.
And that deal is likely to include an option to buy, which means almost certain that his brief Arsenal career is over.
