Former Premier League rivals Harry Kane and Mohamed Salah both hit the same career milestone last month as they reached 50 Champions League goals.
Bayern Munich striker Kane found the net twice in his side’s emphatic 4-1 second-leg victory over Atalanta during this season’s last 16, while Salah’s beautifully struck shot rounded off a resounding 4-1 aggregate victory for Liverpool over Galatasaray.
Kane has since added to his tally with goals in both legs of Bayern’s quarter-final win over Real Madrid.
Salah is technically listed as having 54 career goals in the Champions League. However, four of them came in qualifying-round matches rather than the full competition.
So, which other players have hit this landmark – and beyond – who has reached it the fastest?
