The star rose to fame in 2005 when she won the fourth season of American Idol, one of the longest-running singing competitions in American history. Not too long after, she became a country hit with her debut album Some Hearts, which included the very popular, chart-topping singles “Jesus, Take the Wheel” and “Before He Cheats.” Some Hearts instantly became the best-selling solo female debut album in country music history, inevitably winning the singer three Grammy Awards. Now, Carrie’s back on Idol, but this time as a judge.
