It’s no secret that we’re huge fans of the Asus G14 here at TechRadar – it’s been one of our favorite gaming laptops ever since the model’s inception. That’s why it’s easy to recommend a deal at Best Buy today that brings the entry-level RTX 5060 configuration down to $1,399 (was $1,799).
While this is the most basic spec, all the main selling points that made us fall in love with the G14 are present here. Not only do you get a stunning design and lightweight form-factor, but the 2025 model also comes with a stunning 3K 120Hz OLED display.
That makes it the perfect choice if you want a do-everything laptop for both work and casual use. You get a superb display, plenty of power under the hood, and a relatively transportable machine. It is still a little pricey, but Best Buy’s current deal knocks a full $400 off, making the outlay a little more manageable.
Despite being the entry-level spec, this machine still offers excellent performance, too. Alongside a new RTX 5060 graphics card, you also get a great Ryzen 9 chipset, 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD. These specs are definitely not super high-end for gaming, but they’re more than enough to get you smooth frame rates at 1080p.

One of our writers was so impressed by the RTX 5070 Ti version of this model that he recently published an article saying that this was the only gaming laptop he’d spend his own cash on.
