Vance’s office said the vice president and second lady Usha Vance will be in Minneapolis to pay their respects to the victims of the shooting.

There are memorials outside the church and neighboring Annunciation Catholic School to 8-year-old Fletcher Merkel and 10-year-old Harper Moyski, who died in the shooting during a morning church service attended by students. Eighteen of the other 21 people wounded were children.

As of earlier this week, several victims of the shooting remained hospitalized.

Blue and green ribbons are tied around trees throughout the neighborhood and across the Twin Cities to show support for the Annunciation community.
